| Steps | 1. Navigate to Employee Management → Add Employee. 2. Enter all mandatory employee details. 3. Enter the Join Date as 13-08-2026. 4. Open the Probation dropdown. 5. Select Permanent. 6. Save the employee. |
| Expected Result | The system should not allow a newly joined employee to be directly assigned Permanent status. The employee should be assigned the configured probation period, and Permanent status should be applicable only after successful completion of the probation/confirmation process. |
| Actual Result | The system allows the user to select Permanent for a newly joined employee during employee creation. |
